Blinding has become a common problem about which every driver complaints. They look for some solution to this problem as it may result in collisions. There are two reasons of blinding. Firstly, the lights installed in your car are of reflector type instead of projector type. Secondly, you car lights are not installed in a proper manner. If this is the problem, here are some simple steps through which you can easily adjust your car’s front lights in an efficient manner. These are:

1. It is essential to level your car by removing any excess weight from the car. Checking tire pressure is also recommended and keeps it up to the standard levels.

2. Another important factor to be considered is the correct positioning of your vehicle. You should park it 10 to 15 feet from a dark area or the garage door facing front towards the door. Doing this in a paved parking lot is the finest decision.

3. Turn on the headlights without switching on the fog lights or high beam lights. Mark the vertical and horizontal center lines of the beam using a measuring tape and making marks on the garage door.

4. It is essential to maintain a level in the lights which can be checked through a measuring tape and checking the two marked center lines for the leveling.

5. Take the vehicle 25 feet back from the dark area or garage door and switch off the head lights. Take away the trim ring from the headlights and trace out the bendable screws.

6. Raise the headlight if needed by turning the screw in a clockwise direction and adjust its position is a perfect way.

7. Test your alignment by following the same procedure.

Make sure that you perform these steps cautiously as a single mistake can even enhance your problem of lights instead of solving it.
